Northern College is seeking part-time Professors to teach on-site in the Supply Chain Management, Information Systems Business Analysis, Global Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology, Project Management and Business General programs in our School of Business. The successful incumbent would preferably posses a Master’s in a relevant field of study. Additionally, a certification in Adult Education, or post-secondary level teaching experience, would be considered an asset. Designations in the business field (i.e.: CPA, CHRP, PMP, etc.) would also be asset.

Reporting to the Dean, Business, Continuing Education, Alternate and Flexible Learning the successful candidate will be expected to create a positive teaching and learning environment, using a variety of strategies and materials in the multi-modal delivery of courses. The incumbent should embody a commitment to student success and professional development and demonstrate capacity for leadership in a multi-cultural organization. In addition, the successful candidate must ensure currency and relevance of the teaching material and assessment techniques. The successful candidate will support students in the use of Northern College learning management system as well as maintain course materials within this system.

What you will need to be considered:

Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, or equivalent;
Demonstrated work experience in academic program of study; and
Experience utilizing IS software and platforms (for Information Systems Business Analysis courses only).
The incumbent may be required to provide a criminal reference check.
