The College’s 6,800 full-time and 10,000 part-time students, including hundreds of international students from countries around the world, attend at campus locations in Peterborough, Lindsay, Haliburton and Cobourg. Fleming offers more than 100 full-time programs in Environmental and Natural Resource Sciences, Fine Arts, General Arts and Science, Technology, Skilled Trades, Community Development, Health, Business, and Justice as well as other Continuing Education courses. We are also extremely proud of our more than 73,000 Fleming alumni who are contributing to their communities in the region, across the province and around the world.

Who Are We?
The rapidly expanding School of Trades & Technology makes part of its home in the Kawartha Trades and Technology Centre, an 87,000-square-foot trades and technology skills training facility which features state-of-the-art, sustainable shop facilities, smart-wired classrooms and labs with the newest technology. A large open area, called the Skills Arena, allows students from a number of different trades programs such as carpentry, electrical, HRAC, plumbing and welding to learn and train in one location, as they would on a construction site. Aspiring chefs learn their trade in our culinary program where they put their skills to practice in our sixty-five seat on-site restaurant. The School also delivers exceptional technology programming in a number of disciplines including computer engineering, wireless information networking, instrumentation and control engineering, computer security and investigations, electrical engineering and more.

Student assignments involve real world tasks and goals that are relevant to learner needs.

Due to year-round delivery of programs, this position may have teaching assigned through the summer and vacation will be taken at other times of the year.
In addition to your 43 days of vacation each year, you will enjoy a number of other benefits working at Fleming College including: additional paid time off during our December holiday shutdown, a flexible work schedule, participation in our comprehensive benefits program, membership in our defined benefit pension plan, opportunities for professional development, and tuition assistance for your dependent children.
